Hi everyone.Ā We just upgraded from Dynamics AX 2012 R2 to D365 recently.Ā I use Microsoft Power BI Designer to build dashboard reports.Ā I’m having difficulty finding this AX table in D365.Ā Anyone know what it’s called in D365?Ā I’ve been looking for it in the Data Entities list but can’t find it.Ā Please note I’m an Accountant and not an IT person.Ā I only play an IT person on TV, haha:).Ā In the past year, learning Power BI I’ve learned enough about the AX database to find tables I needed to build datasets for reports but that’s about all I know.Ā Here’s the information about the AX table I’m looking for in D365.Ā Also if anyone has any resources that help with how tables relate to one another that would help me with building datasets from D365 that would be be most appreciated!

Hi Brad,
The DimensionAttributeValueCombination table does exist in D365. However, not every table in the database has an entity associated with it. Depending on the bigger picture of what you’re after, you may find what you need in another entity. If not, you can always create an entity that will extract that table and be available via data management in the same way. If you’re not comfortable using Visual Studio or the D365 developer tools, you may need to involve IT to get this done.
Please let me know if I may provide additional information.
