      Hello,

We uploaded all the dimensions in our D365 environment and they are showing as active in the dimensions table. However, in the management reporter I am unable to access them. At this point I can only access the main account. I can see the other dimensions in the row/column definition but they are all empty hence I cannot use them.
Would anyone know what else we might need to activate in any of the modules – GL/Admin/? – to make the dimensions accessible in the management reporter?

      thank you!

You could try to rebuild the Management Reporter data mart.Ā

Reset the Financial reporting data mart for Finance and Operations – Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | #MSDyn365FO

      Microsoft remove preview
Reset the Financial reporting data mart for Finance and Operations – Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | #MSDyn365FO
In this article This topic explains how to reset the Financial reporting data mart for the following versions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations: Financial reporting release 7.2.6.0 and later Financial reporting release 7.0.10000.4 and later Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (on-premises) To get Finance and Operations Financial reporting release 7.2.6.0, you can download KB 4052514 from https://fix.lcs.dynamics.com/Issue/Resolved?kb=4052514.

      ?I tried both suggestions:
–Ā checking the setup form – and yes, it has been set up
      – rebuilding the data martĀ in theĀ management reporter

Unfortunately it did not fix the issue.

?Did you fill in the General Ledger > Ledger setup> Financial Reporting Setup form?Ā  This is where you tell it which dimensions you want Financial Reporting to have available to it.

We have seen cases where if you use many different environments, your MR instance you end up talking to with the designerĀ  isn’t actually the one connected to the environment where you are running D365 Fin Ops.Ā  There is a registry key here Ā Ā  ComputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftDynamicsManagementReporter21ClientServerConnection which may be incorrect for you and causing a problem. This is in your local computer registry since the designer runs locally.Ā  I’ve had people reset this with some success.Ā  It should reset to the correct environment when you open the designer from within Fin Ops.Ā  Check to see that it is pointing to the right instance.

I solved the problem; it turned out to be a computer glitch.
I went again to ?General Ledger > Ledger setup> Financial Reporting Setup form and moved the list of dimensions to “available” and saved it. Then few minutes later I went back andĀ moved them back to “selected” and saved them. After this little exercise they appeared in the management reporter.

thank you everyone for your help!
