      Good Morning!
Does anyone know the formula that Sales Order CTP uses in D365?Ā  We’re getting some dates that seem way too far in the future and out of line with what we believe it should be calculating.Ā  I’m just curious if there is somewhere to identify the exact fields being looked at and the order in which shipment simulation looks at them.
      Thanks!

      Hi Jody,

CTP calculates using a full BOM explosion. This includes on-hand of items within the BOM, lead times for unavailable items, and also the Route run times and resource times.

      Thanks Kelly!
I assume it takes into consideration inventory status as well, does it pay attention to expiration dates of component materials?
