OnActuate has developed Test Automation tool specifically for Dynamics AX 2012(also available for Dynamics 365 For Operations) using coded UI. Our tool can do testing for various processes of AX. There are also scripts available out of box. We are not doing anything on performance side using this tool.

We’ve used Axeptance (https://axeptance.com) with some success.  It would be hard to automate all of  your user interfaces, but if you use an 80/20 rule, you should have good success.
