A transfer journal was posted to move an item from one location to another.Ā My guess is that the original location did not have quantity on hand, so this generated an “on order” quantity from that location.
I can fix the location Physical Inventory quantity by posting another inventory journal to correct.
How would I go about cancelling the “On Order” quantity, since it isn’t real.Ā Can’t seem to find a way to cancel the on order qty.
This item should have 1 physical inventory unit in M-MS4A and zero on order in M-MS8A
? Much obliged if you are able to help.

Hi Jeff,
Looks to me like you have another un-posted journal line there; to move 1 unit from MS8 to MS4. It’s responsible for the ‘Ordered’ and ‘On order’ quantities you see. Find it and delete it. If you hit the ‘Transactions’ button on one of those lines and scroll all the way to the top, it should tell you the Journal Number.
