      Hello AXperts…

We are batch invoicing with customer master print management override to either print or email invoices.Ā  About once or twice per week we stumble upon a ‘glitch’ during the batch process where the invoice is not emailed to the customer.Ā  The info log looks like this:

The first photo is the infolog where the invoice was not emailed to the customer.Ā  The log states a simple DONE, it does not state the invoice was emailed as shown in the second photo.

Aside from the fact that this only happens with invoices which are to be emailed, we cannot determine any other pattern.Ā  Customers and timing are always different.

Has anyone else seen this or something similar?

      Thank you in advance.

I have seen this, but rarely (maybe once every couple of months) even in our AX 2012 R3, but usually our infolog messages are the same as each other except for the “attachment to e-mail” line.Ā  We haven’t figured it out either as since there aren’t any other messages in the infolog to point to the invoicing following a different process.Ā  Why did yours say that about the “credit limit type reverting”?Ā  Perhaps that breaks it out of the invoicing loop and doesn’t get to the sending.Ā  It would be interesting to know as perhaps ours could be the same, but maybe ours doesn’t spit a message like that so it is harder to trace.

?I seem to recall there was an issue someone found awhile back where the tmp files were getting saved with a poor naming structure, and any that ended up getting generatingĀ the same tmp file name got missed. You might search the forum history for invoice email batch…
I believe they ended up getting a hotfix from Microsoft for the issue as well…
