In my opinion, TAS has more functionality and is basically ready to go out of the box.Ā While you could ultimately achieve the same with D365 advanced bank rec – it would require a lot of internal development effort to match TAS.

We implemented the out of the box advanced bank reconciliation with SPUD.
For our apparently not very complex requirement it gave us everything we needed, it was free, and we did not need to customize anything to use it. Our accountants love using it, and never asked to go a more sophisticated tool.
So while I agree that TAS bank reconciliation is probably more flexible and can meet more requirements, I still think the out of the box functionality can be perfectly good.
