      Hi All,Ā
I’m trying to place a PO with the Letter of Credit.Ā  The Bank document type is inactive.Ā  How do activate it; so that I have a dropdown box to choose Letter of Credit?Ā  Thanks so much!Ā  Ā

      ?Good day Lisa,

as Ludwig mentioned, the Letter of credit will be enabled on Purchase and sell from Cash&Bank Module Parameter –> General –> Bank Document –> Enable Letter of Credit for Import and Enable letter of Credit for Export.

Thank you, Nirav, for your response.Ā  these two boxes have been checked and the Bank document type is still inactive.Ā  Ā Does it have anything to do with documentĀ management?Ā Ā

      Hi Lisa,
Can you edit the PO and manually select a bank document type other than ‘none’?
      Best regards,
      Ludwig

Thank you for your response.Ā  I happened to delete that PO, but I created a new one.Ā  The Letter of credit/import collection is still inactive. Ā

      All,
The solution is found.Ā  I need to share this in case anyone runs into the same issue
My Purchase type is JournalĀ (screenshot 1) which caused the Bank document to be inactive.Ā Ā
When switch to Purchase order, the Bank document is now available for Letter of Credit.Ā Ā

      Hi Lisa,
Please check your bank module parameters.
There are some specific parameters available in the general tab of the parameters form that you have to activate first.
      Best regards,
      Ludwig
