?We are setting up sales quotations in AX, and I am wondering if there is a way to get the “Product name” to show up when clicking the drop down by the item number (similar to how it works when entering a sales order).  Please see the two images below.  The drop down for the sales order includes the product name, but the sales quote only shows the search name.  I am hoping there is a parameter I can update.

Hi Amy.
It seems that you have two options.

1) make your licens configuration to ‘YES’ for the ‘Trade Item Search’.

or
2) change the code as shown below.

Hi Amy.
Changes in ‘Licens configuration’ is found in the ‘System administration/Setup/License’ and is normally a job for system administrators.
I recommend that you contact your system administrator or AX partner and ask for the change. Then you should start getting it done from the test environment, to check if it interfere with the rest of the application.
