      Hello!

We continue to have an issue with our Atlas ISV solution where we have to clear the cache multiple times a week during our period end close process when we are uploading a high volume of items.Ā  We have our IT group & the Atlas support team involved but we were wondering if there are any other customers out there who are experiencing the same issue or have experienced it in the past?Ā  We are looking for any and all ideas to help resolve the issue since it continues to be a pain point for our users.Ā  Thank you!

      Hi Kristal

We experience this most of the time, as we have 3 instances. We recommend first user to clear cache and refresh on their end it it doesnt work we cleared cache on ATLAS server, most of the time that helped to fix the issue of upload.

Read some where for huge files to upload you can also increase the time so it cant time out

Due to the limited licence also noticed that when user doesnt log out after use. At certain point their account also create issue and have to re-activate account from the server

      Best regards

Back when we started using Atlas(version 5.1)Ā  we had a user who was able to update there local client.Ā  That created an issue were we had to clear cache a lot until we figured out.Ā  I’ve also seen were we missing a AX kernel update on machine with a AX business connector. Ā  Honestly though we have not been experiencing any issues recently.Ā  We are not on Atlas 6.2.

Hi Kristal, we have 10 concurrent designer licenses but users in the system at once is 3-5 at any given time.Ā  Budget and Forecast updates as well as our price list updates are pretty big.Ā  They take some time but don’t crash.Ā  All our Atlas users are running it local from there desktop.Ā  I mention as we tried the TS route and it caused performance issues.Ā  Our SQL server that’s home for AX has 8 processors and 88 gigs of RAM.Ā  Our Atlas server is just pretty basic though 8 gigs of Ram, 70 gig C drive.Ā  We are looking to go to 6.2 in January so we can try to take advantage of the new multi thread capabilities.

?We have always had issues with Atlas crashing.Ā  On a daily basis we just restart the Atlas windows services outside of working hours.Ā  This has resolved a lot of those issues.
