      Hello:

Does anyone have any experience in converting outbound ASNs (to customers) to a different file format other than XML? Ā I’m only finding information about inbound ASNs and having suppliers convert TO XML, I need to find out how to do the opposite.

      Thank you!

We send ASNs to customers in Excel files, not as XMLs. But we had to send it in emails, not through AIF. And we wrote custom code for that. We didn’t use any standard feature for it.

How do you have to send the ASNs? Which format are you looking for? Are you talking about performing customizations in the system or do you want to use any standard feature of AX? Because if you are using AIF, then you have to send it as XML only.

      Liz,

Are you looking to send the ASN data as an EDI 856 document to a customer? Ā Or are you simply looking for a tool to convert XML data to another format?

      Take care,
