Hi David,
In my experience, most of my clients have gone with a 3rd party tool for AP automation. Here’s a few ISVs I am familiar with:

• Palette Software (I believe they’ll be doing a webinar for this SIG in the near future)
• AXtension
• Concur

As a consultant, I’ll leave it to the users to talk about their experiences with each. All of them integrate with AX but features vary between the three.
