Hi All

So I’ve added a couple of new legal entities and have set up allocation rules.  I must have missed something because we are getting the following error.  We have many other companies set up with this allocation and there are no issues.  Any ideas?

Hi James
Have you set up Intercompany Rules for the new legal entities? (These are different to Allocation rules)
You set this up in the General Ledger Module. In D365 the path is General Ledger > Posting Setup > Intercompany Accounting – but I know the 2012 path is slightly different.
Allocations will require this to be set up as well so that the Intercompany Balance Sheet Account is correctly posted!

Hi Julia

I actually figured it out after spending way too much time looking for it.  I had forgotten to update our account structure with the new accounts I had added for the intercompany transactions.  That’s why AX was throwing the error.  Thanks
