I am attempting to add the vendors address to the all vendors form.I have selected the personilize form option add field but for the life of me cant see ADDRESS, I thought maybe location ID but thats not available either.
Short of selecting all the extra fields anyone have any idea on what the right one is?

Hi Chad,Talking from a D365FO perspective here: I am pretty sure that addresses are stored in a different table that you can’t call from the “all vendors” screen, meaning it would require customization to add that information to that screen. I could be way off here…Ā
Can I ask why you want the address in that screen? You could click on Related information on the very right of your screen, primary address is one of the fields it would show there.

Kerstin:Just trying to create a quicker dump of vendors vs running the inquiry for my end users.I figured it was cross tables. Was hoping someone might be more familiar with the joins and had that request before.I was leaning towards it being a customization but was still hopeful.Appreciate the quick and insightful reply.***sent from my cellular device. please excuse all spelling, punctuation and brevity***——Original Message——

Hello Chad,Not sure what version you are running but the you could use the data entities to dump the information out if that is all you are after.Ā Depending on what address you need the primary is dumped out on VendorsV2
If you still need it on the listing page you will need to considered customization as mentioned above.Ā The primary address is in the related information tab on the right of the screen.Ā Would that also work?

Hi, Kerstin is correct. Address are not stored directly in theĀ Customer or Vendor tables so you will not be able to personalize. If this is D365FO, try the data entity:Ā Vendor postal addresses

you might also pull a report that you create with Power BI or using something like Atlas. The Atlas tool is very easy to use to take advantage of existing relationships and if none exist then you can do a join to get the info you need in one report.Ā Andrew is correct, addresses are stored in different tables and those tables are rarely included for personalization.
