      Hello everyone,

I need to add the Sales Origin field that is on the Sales Header under Set up on the Sales Order –Ā

to the Sales Order Defaults form under All Customers –Ā

I have created a new field via the Personalize this page option, but that obviously only works for your current customer and view. I need the Sales Origin to be an option field when creating the customer, and not only when creating a sales order. I am not sure whether the custom field is the way to go or if there is another way without diving in to development?

      TYI

      Nicky

The sales origin field is not designed to be stored on the customer record.Ā  But, if you want that field added to the customer for whatever reason, you would need a developer to do so.

I recommend creating a new custom table (e.g., called MCACustTable) instead of extending the CustTable or MCRCustTable and putting the field in there using the same EDT.Ā  Then you only need to extend the customer form to include that new table and field.
