While validating W2 information for 2016, I noticed that additional Medicare Tax is not displaying in box 6. Is anyone else having this issue or have a solution for a fix? We are in the AX 2012 Version.

There is a hotfix to correct the issue of additional medicare taxes not being added to box 6. It is KB3038650. We have installed it, but are having other issues with AX due to the hotfix. Good luck!
Thank you for the reply back and for the information. That’s not good the hot fix is causing other issues. I notified our IT department of the hot fix that is available. On another note, have you had issues with the Retirement box and how to get that checked? Do you know if that’s another hot fix?

Yes, we had the same issue with the retirement checkbox. Here is the response from Microsoft last year on how to fix it.
The three checkboxes are controlled via a tax code parameter for each worker. Open the worker and go to the Payroll action menu and select Worker tax codes. This is the same place you set up W-4 elections. Select the USA-FED-FIT tax and you will see the three settings. Be sure to set these date effectively as they need to be active on 12/31/2015 in order to print on the 2015 W-2s. If you change it directly in the form without opening the maintain versions you will make it effective today and thus it won’t print until the 2016 W-2 is printed.
