  • Work Order Not Auto-Assigning to Available Resources in D365 Field Service?

    Hi everyone,

    I’m currently working with Dynamics 365 Field Service, and I’m running into an issue where work orders are not being auto-assigned to available resources, even though I’ve configured Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO) and set up the booking rules correctly.

    Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

    <ul data-start=”532″ data-end=”814″>

  • Resources are marked as available and have the necessary skills.

  • Booking setup metadata and resource roles are properly configured.

  • Work order types and incident types have been set up with relevant characteristics.

  • RSO is running on schedule and shows successful execution.

  • Despite all this, new work orders are not being automatically booked, and I have to do it manually. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any ideas on what might be missing or misconfigured? Would love to hear your thoughts or step-by-step suggestions to troubleshoot this.
