Wondering if someone can tell me where the X-Report pulls the information from. Sounds pretty simple but we recently came across an X-Report showing a MC transaction that did not happen.

Not sure what an X-Report is. Sounds like something that could be custom for your company or possibly from an add-on that you are using?

If you’re running NAV 2009 Role Tailored or above you can run the report, and before you click Preview, click Help –> About This Report. That should show you an object id. If that object id is between 50,000 and 99,999 then it is custom for you all. If it is a 14,00,000 number or 37,000,000 number it is an add-on. There are some other options, but they are less likely.

Thank you! We have NAV 2016 and the X-Report is generated from the POS and shows tender types and amounts. Any other thoughts?

This sounds like a customer report. I recall Z-Reports specifically for Chargelogic and assuming X-Reports is more likely coming from that. Used to be ran at the end of the day to tally up all card transactions.

It’s been a while but I believe this is pulled from EFT Entries table. I would start and check there.

If you are using LS Retail then it is printing sales transaction totals from table 99001473 “Trans. Sales Entry” and tender wise payment details from 99001474 “Trans. Payment Entry”
