Where did everyone go?

**Public Service Announcement**
Have you noticed NAVUG forum activity is shrinking?Ā There has been some communication, but I feel like it’s been too vague, so I wanted to clarify. (Feel free to clarify if I got something wrong here…)
Microsoft is essentially taking on the management of D365 communities.
Dynamic Communities (aka NAVUG/CRMUG/AXUG/etc.) will be focusing on their new DAC site and on the fall “Summit” event. So where do we post all our NAV/BC questions/ideas/thoughts?Ā
There are now 2 “User Groups” all NAVUG peeps should check out:
BC:Ā Ā Ā https://community.dynamics.com/business/
NAV:Ā Ā https://community.dynamics.com/navIf you want to see ALL the UG’s that MS has created…take a look here. (there are a lot).
It’s been fun, NAVUG friends! Hope to see y’all in the new communities soon!

Microsoft will be “handling” the LOCAL user groups and will be offering message boards also.Ā However, despite what appeared to be some technical difficulties here the last few days, these message boards will still be here at NAVUG.com.

Greg,Thank you for the public update. The NAVUG/BC Forum (navug.com), as Lewis mentioned, will still be available to everyone and not going anywhere so anyone can submit questions on NAV/BC topics. Microsoft is taking over the Local User Group and as of today we currently don’t have a perfect picture of what this will entail and how we will proceed. Based on previous conversations, it will be the responsibility of a Local User Group to run themselves independently so we will not have a DCI coordinator as in the past (more information will be coming when Microsoft gives more information).Ā
The 2 links from community.microsoft.com NAV and Business Central are active and also help support DEV and Functional questions.
There is a 3rd one dynamicsuser.net/nav , which also helps support users with DEV and Functional questions.
Overall we are still here for all members in NAVUG.com.
Thanks,
Steve——————————

– Love the passion you have for the community! And thank you for jumping in here. This NAVUG site will be up for the foreseeable ?future while Microsoft is rolling out their LUG sites/pages. We have been partnering with Microsoft on this transition and have hosted a few LUG Leader meetings to create awareness of this shift.Ā
Additionally, we are super stoked to be bringing the community back together for the Summit North America conference in Houston, TX the week of Oct 11th, 2021. Currently, speaker submissions are open (more info here) and the Summit site is here: ?https://www.summitna.com. This Summit site will be updated as more details are available.
If anyone has any questions on the UG communities or Summit North America, please reach out to me.

Microsoft will be ‘handling’ local user groups?Ā Ā Mmmm.Ā Reminds me of an old cartoon.Ā Back in the days when you bought software in a box, and had to drive to a store to get it.Ā Funny how much has changed.Ā But how much hasn’t!!Ā
