#NAV2017????Hello,

I work for a small company that makes custom stainless steel factories for fishing vessels and plants. We currently are using paper timesheets to record shop worker hours on job tasks, and a punch timeclock for capturing day start and end times. We are currently using Nav 2017 with a customized job module, and have about 40 shop workers.

Our company would like to move to using time management software for capturing shop worker hours. I am leaning towards wanting to use Insight Works Shop Floor (provided it works with our custom job module). My manager is interested in seeing if he can get some recommendations from others who have implemented Shop Floor Insight.

Our Nav Consultants are currently implementing Shop Floor for another client, but it is not completed. They have not implemented Shop Floor for a client previously. I also reached out to an Insight Works sales representative to find out about possible recommendations that my Manager can contact, but Insight Works said that Shop Floor is usually installed through a Nav consultant reseller and consequently they don’t have references to provide.

So, I would like to ask here in the navug forum if anyone has implemented Shop Floor Insight in their company and what their experience has been (positive or negative). Alternatively, if you have experience with a different Nav time management software that you think is very good, I would be interested in hearing about that.
