Hello,

For NAV 2018, are the record Master Templates limited to Customer, Vendor, and Item cards? I’m particularly interested in setting up the Ship-to Address Cards with default field values.

If this is a NAV 2018 limitation, are additional records available to set templates in BC?

Hi,
Templates are available for Customers, Vendors, Employees and Items. You could use configuration templates, but it would require a modification.

I’ve used templates for some other tables using the CREATE INSTANCE action in the ribbon on the template card.
This would be tricky and would probably require a modification for customer ship-to’s because the table has a multiple-field key (Customer Code + Ship-to Code).
