When loading a Promised Delivery Dates to a PO, our system is set to automatically load the Expected Receipt Date and add 2 days.  Where is this controlled?

Check the Inbound Whse. Handling Time setting in your inventory setup page.  It may be set to 2D.  If zero, you could check the vendor leadtime on the vendor card.

      Hi Chris,
This article here also might shed some light on how that’s determined (and, therefore, places to check in NAV proper):

      Date Calculation for Purchases

To recap what the page says:

When there is a Requested Receipt Date, the steps are:

      1. requested receipt date lead time calculation = order date
      2. requested receipt date + inbound whse. handling time + safety lead time = expected receipt date

When there’s no Requested Receipt Date:

      1. order date + lead time calculation = planned receipt date
      2. planned receipt date + inbound whse. handling time + safety lead time = expected receipt date

N.B.: Inbound Whse. Handling Time is in the Inventory Setup, Lead Time and Safety Lead Time would be on the Item Card.

      Hope that helps!
