When attempting to post lines in the production journal for a released production order, this error pops up:
“Document No. must be equal to ‘PJRNL000001’ in Item Journal Line: Journal Template Name=PROD. ORDE, Journal Batch Name=USER_6573F, Line No.=10000. Current value is ‘RPPO-000009’.”

This happens regardless of user or production order. The only difference will be the Journal Batch Name in the error, as it will update to the user attempting to post.

      Has anyone seen this error?Ā

Did you by any chance assign a no. series for the batch name USER_6573F? You can check this by going to Item Journal templates and then checking batches listed under PROD. ORDE. Check to see if No. Series is filled in.

      Thanks,

Open the item journal template and then open the batch referenced in the error.Ā  Check to see if a No. Series code is assigned.Ā  If so, you can remove it, or note the number series, go to the No. Series table and make sure that “Manual Nos.” is checked as Yes.Ā  That should allow it to post.
