Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to have NAV send emails using specified email addresses?
Right now we only have a single system-wide SMTP email. So Vendor Remittances get sent with the same email that Customer Documents get sent with.
Microsoft is considering this idea…Please vote it up!

We do send from multiple email addresses. This has been in place so long, I am not 100% sure how. We’re in NAV 2018 and I think it’s part of Lanham. On the User Setup screen each user can have a different E-Mail Sender Name and E-Mail Sender Address as well as their own E-Mail address. We use one shared mailbox on Exchange so customer service can handle sales related email, salesorders@gearaid, and another for accounting@gearaid.
