      Good morning,

      When running the planning worksheet this morning, we ran into this error “The Prod. Order Component does not exist. Identification fields and values: Status=’3′,Prod. Order No.=’16560′,Prod. Order Line No.=’10000′,Line No.=’130000′”.

      It’s referencing a component of a finished production order because the planning worksheet is trying to reschedule that finished production order. Anyone have any ideas as to why the planning worksheet is trying to reschedule a finished production order? I’ve confirmed that the production order is not in the released production order list but is truly in the finished production order list and all items have already been consumed.Ā

      Thank you.Ā

      This is an interesting one.Ā  Have you created some custom statuses for items and or production orders?Ā  The portion of the error that says Status = “3” stands out to me.Ā  Somehow NAV’s logic is triggering that suggestion.Ā  Is there any way that you can trace that logic backwards?Ā  It almost sounds like that status is interrupting the logic enough to allow NAV to see finished production orders.Ā  Similar to that warning when you under-consume on a production order and NAV warns that not all of the consumption has been recorded.Ā  I realize this answer isn’t great.Ā  Hopefully it provides a little perspective and / or direction.

      ?In base NAV “Production Order”.Status = 3, is a Released Production Order. Please check if you have any customizations around production orders including Change Status.

      Production Order Status values
      0= Simulated,
      1=Planned,
      2=Firm Planned,
      3=Released,
      4=Finished

      Hi Jason and Andrew,

      I have confirmed that we do not have any customization’s in our system regarding Production Order Status’s. I also confirmed that everything was correctly consumed on those production orders.Ā

      What I did notice is that originally when I posted this question, there were three items on the Planning Error Log. Now there’s only one. The other two disappeared on their own. I will send this off to our developer to see if they can explain this glitch a little more. Thank you for your input.

      As Andrew mentioned above with the statuses, have you finished the Production Order in question and changed the status to “Finished”?
