This issue exists on the phone client only.  Tablet, Web and Windows work correctly.  I am using a role with access to the item list from the HomeItems section.  When I open items and then open an item card, I am not in View or Edit mode.  Instead of seeing a pencil in the bottom of the screen, I see a trash can.  I am also only able to view a few of the fields on the screen and do not see any of the fast tab groups.  I can click on customers from the HomeItems section and it will open the customer card in edit mode.  Making a cue for the item table will allow the user to open the item card correctly from the cue, but I am trying to get the HomeItems option to work.  If anyone can tell me how to get to either edit or view mode on the phone it would be greatly appreciated.

I have not worked with the Phone  Client so can’t assure it will work. Have you gotten it to work with any other card pages on your phone? If so, I would suggest copying that home button (sale Home Customer) and then change the links to Item card. Sometimes different interfaces can be tricky to work with so I try to replicate the existing working button/page in that interface and then redevelop my custom button/page.

?Thanks for the suggestion.  The Role Center Page has several HomeItems Page Actions.  There is no underlying C/AL code.  They are all straightforward RunObject page [Page Name].  Two of the pages open in delete mode with the trash can icon.  Other All pages open correctly.
