What Table object controls a user’s ability to see or not see the Table Fields list in “About This Page”?

I only just learned that this was a security controlled aspect of NAV. One of my super users is able to see the table fields list. While one of my otehr users (who otherwise has every active permission set we have defined) cannot.

We want to allow our users the ability to be able to see the list of fields in a given table so that they can identify fields they may need exposed. We want to add the read level for that particular object to our other permission sets as a standard. However since I am on the “About this page” …page already… I can’t figure out how to identify which page this is.

I believe that is set by adding the follow to the desired permission set:

      Object Type = System
Object ID = 5330 (Tools, Zoom)

      As Dave said:

How to: Assign Permission to Use Zoom and About This Page

      Microsoft remove preview
How to: Assign Permission to Use Zoom and About This Page
The default roles that are provided with the Classic client and the supplemental roles that are provided for the RoleTailored client do not include permissions to run Zoom or About This Report and do not include permissions to view all information for About This Page.

You can control user permission based on what administrators give permissions to the user. Like Dave said, you can control ZOOM (Shift+Control+F8) by giving permission for table 5330

The permission to assign to a Permission Set and then to the User is System 5330. That is the only System Permission that works in the NAV 2013 and later.
