Does anyone have a report – Open Sales Order by line – that has logic to calculate the Planned Shipment Date?
we manually update the Excel report.
sort of an ‘MRP’ type calculator – looks at sales orders, inventory, and incoming orders – and based on amounts and dates – calculate when a SO line can ship.
this helps us with short-stock items.
NAV has ‘Order Promising’ inside Sales Order entry – but does not work. we think the logic there (according to the documentation) may have some of the logic we are looking for.
We send these reports to our customers, and like to give them shipment dates that are reliable.——————————
