??Anyone ran into where their server instance doesn’t want to stay running and have any solution to it?Ā We are running Nav 2013 R2 on Windows server 2012 R2.
We upgrade our VMware to the new version from 5.5 to 6.5Ā and nothing changed on our vm.Ā When we went to turn all the machines back on after upgrade allĀ machineĀ starts up and runs perfectly fine. Ā Started the instance in our SQL server first (stays running) then went to go turn the middle-tier vm in administration on it’ll stop after 20sec of running.Ā
Thanks,

Check the server event log. It should tell you what is wrong.

I’ve had problems with using the Network Service as the account for those services. It worked in one version of Windows but not another.
Given you haven’t changed Windows version, it’s probably not that, but I thought I’d just mention it. In the newer version of Windows our IT guys just created a specific account for the NAV service tiers.
BUT first, definitely check your event log, for sure!

IĀ lookedĀ at the event log and was giving me login permission issues.Ā ? Was able to figure out what the issue was.Ā Needed to install the Dell custom vmware 6.5 instead of the one directly from vmware.Ā All the drives were missing so had to reinstall and rejoin all servers to the domain to get it connected correctly.Ā
Thanks,
