We are on NAV 2009 classic client and are looking for “standard” solution to send email to a internal Distribution list (EMAIL), when a job complete.
Is there any LS retail functionality to send emails?
Any suggestion will be appreciated

All right I am not getting any response about email notification, I was expecting at least some replies.
I know this is LS Retail ADD on, where they are?

Let me add a question to my topic. What about email using Navision standard Job functionality?
can I send an alert, an email after Job finished?

By “job” I assume you mean the NAV job scheduler?

If so (and we’re on NAV2016/Ls9 – not sure if this is the same in 2009) – you can try the details in this link.  It will require some development effort obviously so it’s definitely not ‘standard’.  Email setup is done via the standard “smtp mail setup” page.

I don’t know of any standard NAV way to do it. You could, I suppose use Workflows to send some e-mails, but you’ll have to program those. You have to be on NAV 2015 and above, though.

For 2009, you definitely need some development!

There are a few ways you can attack this issue.
Modify the job to include an email on contemplation section. 
Modify the job to include a log file and use powershell to email users that file.
Use powershell to send an email when the sql table updates.
I’m sure there are lots of other ways people have/will come up with.
