Lanham EDI 860 (SE0.60.19) PO Change Unable to find an EDI field mapped to the Sales Order No.

We recently have been asked to start supporting 860 documents for EDI for one of our Trade partners.Ā I’m in the process of setting up the mapping using Lanham EDI.
I’ve written the mapping, however, must be missing a somewhat basic piece in connecting the NAV Sales Order to the sales order referred to in the POC.Ā Ā
I have mapped the Sales Header External Document No. on the BCH segment, but receive the error “Unable to find an EDI field mapped to the Sales Order No.”
The 860 doesn’t have our Sales Order No., which makes sense, as the 860 doesn’t have that information, but it does have the external document number, which I have mapped.Ā I’m sure I am missing something fairly basic on how to get it to match up, but wondering if there is any guidance on what I am missing.Ā
The Test Retail example shows using an I_SLSORD rather than a U_SLSORD, but I’m not sure if that would make the difference?

It might make a difference.Ā My 860 has a “Navision Document” set to I_SLSORD.

Hi Stuart!
Yes, please use the I_SLSORD “Navision Document” and you are correct to map to the Sales Header “External Document No.”Ā That is what Lanham EDI uses to determine the Sales Order to link to.Ā Test that out and if you are still experiencing an issue, please reply back where this issue stands and what is the Lanham EDI version which is located in E.D.I. Setup >> About EDI in the ribbon (it’s the SE0.xx.xx # that I would need).
Have a great day!?——————————

Hi Lewis and Charlotte,Ā
Thanks for the direction.Ā I changed it back to the I_SLSORD, and noticed that the functional group was PO instead of PC, so thinking that caused an initial issue, as it does look like it is moving further now.It has now moved farther in processing, however, I have now received the error:
“You do not have the following permissions on CodeUnit Sales Document Change: Execute”.Since I am in as a Super user, is there a licensing that I might be missing for handling the 860?Ā I was thinking we had the advanced, since we are doing ASNs.
I am running SE0.60.19 in NAV 2018.

Just a follow up for anyone looking, the permission is indeed a licensing requirement to allow changing of the PO automatically.Ā Charlotte mentioned that without the license, the use of the I_SLSGEN can be used as well.Ā So depending on your needs you can go either way.
The original issue was the document type.Ā Ā
Thanks for the assistance!

Hi Stuart,I am running into the exact same permissions issue with our system and I was curious if you had more info on what the license requirement is?
We purchased the Lanham EDI Extended Document Module from our ERP partner with the understanding that this license was required to start processing 860’s.We are on SE0.60.18
Thanks in advance!

Hi Alexander!
It sounds like you are licensed appropriately for the i860 to update a Sales Order (where the “Navision Document” = I_SLSORD) as it is licensed under EDI Extended Document.Ā I’d make sure that you see this module in the license file and perhaps rebooting of the service tier so it can see the new license file.Ā Let us know if you still can’t process your 860.Ā Ā
BTW – A quick way to see if you can access a page that is licensed under the EDI Extended Documents is to try to open the Sales Price Catalog or Inventory Advice pages…if you can’t open them, then the new fin.flf is not recognized.Ā If you can open them, then you are licensed correctly and perhaps something else is going on.
Keep us posted please!——————————
