      Hello all,

We have a request from a Trading Partner to implement EDI 180 inbound and outbound.Ā  The only purpose of the document is to receive Return Authorization.Ā  There is nothing this document needs to do inside of NAV.

We have the option to do this via webforms with our VAN, but that isn’t preferred.

      Has anyone successfully implemented this?

      Thanks,

?I have not implemented an EDI 180, but I have mapped other inbound #EDI documents such as the 864 and 816 that do nothing in NAV using Lanham’s EDI.Ā  It is just a matter of creating the map and then you can look at the data received or print the detailed data received.?

This sounds like an EDI log recognition request only. As Lewis stated,Ā “It is just a matter of creating the map and then you can look at the data received or print the detailed data received.” You can do this with Lanham or even Anveo EDI (which uses no VAN and can leverage ‘shared’ directories and will process internally (100% integrated to Dynamics NAV)).?

Thank you all for your input.

From what I understand of the TP’s request (which isn’t much at this point), they are sending us a 180 and would like an RGA number in return to confirm authorization, hence the 180 inbound and outbound.Ā
I guess I may have misspoke when I said “do nothing in NAV”.Ā  I see in my version of Lanham the Export 180 document, but not the inbound 180 document.Ā  Using version SE0.60.05.
