I am using #NAV2018, with Lanham Advanced Warehousing, E-Ship, and EDI.  We pick into totes/containers, then use pack line scanning to??? pack them into packages.  We have a customer that is using an SOTP hierarchy, and they are requesting that in a Tare HL, that a Item/Lot combination can only appear once.  Unfortunately with the picking operation we have, there are times when an item with the same lot code may get picked multiple times, which then creates multiple Pack HL’s for the same lot code.
For instance, the below is what we currently generate:

I assume that this would be in the packing rules, and it has something to do with the ASN Summary from Pack. Summary, but wondering if someone has a suggestion on how to set it up.

Hi, Stuart- Try the following settings: checkmark ‘ASN Summary from Pack Summary’, ‘Lines from Pack Summary Lines’ and ‘BOL Summary from Pack Summary’. Set the Package Summary Type to ‘Item all Levels Summarized’. Now you can map the 856 from the Package Summary Line table to send summarized item totals for each package. You can also map the UCC labels now using the Package Summary Line table if needed.
