I have (14) jobs that their Start time changed an hour earlier once Daylight Savings changed.Ā  A few other jobs did not change.Ā  Is there a setting I should be aware of?
      Is this normal?

      Barbara,

Possibly it is the “Date & time” setup on the machine running the job queue?

Date & time can be defined to adjust for daylight saving time automatically.Ā

      I would check there first.

Thanks Cynthia.Ā  I’ll check.Ā  The only thing is that not all jobs were changed.

If I understand how the Job Queue runs, how the jobs are setup to run dictates what machine is considered “local” for the purpose of Date and time. You may have more than one server instance each running on its own machine, or the job is kicked off by a user from their local machine.Ā

Again, not sure, but somewhere to look. Let me know if this proves to be the source of the difference.

As far as our environment goes this is normal and I do not know of a way to automatically fix this without some programming (not worth the effort for us).Ā

Every time Daylight Savings Time happens I go into Job Queue entries and filter on “No. of Minutes between Runs” > 60 (anything an hour or under won’t be affected).Ā  I then go in and manually adjust the “Earliest Start Date/Time” to be correct.Ā  Don’t forget sometimes you have to change the date as well as the time if something went from 12:00 AM to 11:00 PM for example.

Check each NAV service to see if they are all set for UTC or server time. UTC is best if you have multiple time zones-NAV will translate to local time. Some apps will require server time to properly manage time tracking.
