We recently went live on Business Central on 8/3 and are also purchased the add-in for Jet Reports (not the analytics version).Ā
Does anyone have suggestions as to where to get training for our team?
Is there a Jet user forum similar to this one?Ā  Ā

We have had training by our partner but just still seem to have many questions when it comes time to creating reports.. how to link tables, when to use table builder versus the wizard, etc..

      Any suggestions will be appreciated.
      Thanks,
      Deb

      Hi Deb,

They still have the knowledge base as a reference. But sometimes that isn’t enough unless you have another round of Jet training but if you’re comfortable enough and just need some references, you can click on the link below.

Do they no longer offer the 2 day training out in Portland? Perhaps not with COVID, or maybe its virtual now. You can also contract with Jet directly for either training sessions or help building reports. We’ve done all three.

      Hi Deb,

I have found the Jet Sample Reports and Templates page useful. As stated on the Downloading Sample Reports overview: “Many people learn best by looking at examples.”

We went live with Jet almost a year ago.Ā  We did not work with our partner, but directly with Jet.Ā  They provided training sessions for our designers to cover basic report building and a few more advanced topics.Ā  They also had a library of training videos we can reference back to.Ā  This is all in addition to what others have already mentioned.

      Sincerely,

I agree with that going directly to Jet or potentially a 3rd party consultant who has training with Jet is the best way to go. If your partner does have in-house expertise, of course its always great to be able to ?use them first, since they likely know your business and needs already.

Agree with Kristina & Amanda here. I implemented Jet at my company and did the training for my team with Jet directly. A couple of us did on site training in NY 7 years ago but then were able to schedule a remote session for our accounting and IT team. Since then we have been supporting Jet ourselves and have gotten good support on any issues we face.

Reach out to them, I am sure you will find it useful.

We have been using Jet for 6 years, and this year we decided to do another training with Jet because we had two designers who had not received formal training.Ā  We had all 5 designers (trained and untrained) participate over a period of a week or so in 1-2 hour sessions via Zoom.Ā  Even ?the veteran designers learned some new tricks.Ā  It was absolutely worth it.

      Hi Deb

I have been through a few of the videos from here, https://elearning.jetglobal.com/courses most of the content is for Analytics, but there are some videos that cover Jet Essentials (Professional). There is also more resources here https://insightsoftware.com/resources/content-type/video/products/jet/

      I hope those help.

      Cheers
      David
