      Hi Community:
      First of all
      Version: Business Central 13.3 (On-premise)
Vertical: LINKFRESH 365 Business Central 7.10

Rapidstarts were not modified by my partner. It is all strictly core.

I am trying to upload a rapidstart file with dimensions. In order to have the dimensions available I did the following setup:
      1. Created a rapidstart name “ULTIPRO PAYROLL” on the Configuration Package area.. Rapidstart has only one table. Table 39 (Purchase Line). That is because we process payroll using an invoice. (Image 1 Configuration Package – Image 1.PNG file)
2.- Created a Configuration Worksheet. setup is as follow: (IImage 2 Configuration Worksheet.PNG file)

      • Line Type: Table
      • Table DI: 39 (Purchase Line)
      • Assigned package ULTIPRO PAYROLL.Ā
      • Enable “Dimensions as columns”

3.- I export the excel file from the Configuration Worksheet.
4-Ā  I filled in the information on the Excel file (Final Template.xlsx file)
5.- I click Import from Template directly on the Configuration Worksheet
6.-Ā  Once imported I go to the Configuration Package
7.-Ā  Based on the information I got on the Excel file I know I am importing 3 records.
8.- I clicked on the No. of Package Records. A new window opens and I see the 3 records with all the different dimensions I used. (Records to Import.PNG file)
9.- I select on the lines and click on Apply Data.
10.- I finally go the Purchase Invoice and realized dimension information is missing. (Purchase Invoice.PNG file)

I do have some information like EXPENSES CODE = Value PAYROLL but that information is coming from the G/L Account. If I check PAYROLL CODE dimension it has no values. It should be SALARY for this example.

      Note: Rename PackageULTIPROPAYROLL.doc to .rapidstart

One last comment I have the same setup on NAV 2013 R2 and it used to worked.

As far as I can tell you are doing everything correctly, and I would expect it to import the dimension value as shown in the spreadsheet.Ā

Does the dimension field have data after import but before you apply the 3 lines?

My assumption is that there is some processing function taking place that erases the data while it is being entered.Ā  There are lots of RapidStart gurus here though that can help diagnose this better than I can though.Ā  You might be able to search on here for other RapidStart processing tips.

      Eric:
It does have data but the information disappears once it gets processed.

Something else I forgot to mention. Supposed I enter a Dimension that does not exist. I did not get any message. It seems it never gets to the trigger part
