      Hi All,
Thanks in advance to guide me on below case,

I have a NAV backup file as .navdata andĀ  trying to import this navdata file using Import from a Data File feature. The back up file were created from NAV 2016 version and currently I am trying to import into the same version of NAV. From the Import Data card,Ā  I have selected the backup file, the Tennant ID is default, in the import section I have selected the Application Data check box and the company also selected. Finally I have click on the OK button system throws an error as ” The data was exported from a different version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV”.Ā

I couldn’t to trace out the issue for this error. According to my records the NAV version is same.Ā

Does anyone ever faced this issue? How this can be resolved?

Looking forward to get help from here!

      Best Regards,Ā

When Importing NAV Backup Files it has to be the same NAV Release, and all Objects in the database has to be the Same.Ā  If one object is changed then the import will not work.

      Ranjith,

I did run into a similar issue before but the error message was different. In my case, I had the extensions published/Installed in one database but not in the other.
