They should be linked via Reservation Entries

In NAV the Reservation Entries page should show you both Reserved For and Reserved From columns because the page accumulates the information for you.Ā  If you mean within your own reports though you will need to search Reservation Entries table (337) for both applicable records.

There’ll be one entry with Source Type 900, Source ID = your Assembly Order Number, Positive = Yes.
Find that then find the other Reservation Entry with the same Entry No but Positive = No and its Source ID should be your Sales Order No and Source Ref. No. would be the line on the Sales order (usually counting 10000 at a time so 50000 would be the 5th line on your Sales Order unless lines had been deleted or new lines had been inserted at some point).

      Guy,

I don’t know how much technical information you want but I had a similar requirement (linking a Production Order to a Sales Order Line). The SQL query I used is listed below. I never found a cleaner approach (though I stopped looking once I landed here). I found out the hard way that the Top 1 filter is required to handle a specific case.

      select
      [Source ID]
      from dbo.[XXXXX$Reservation Entry]
where [Entry No_] = (select top 1 [Entry No_] from dbo.[XXXXX$Reservation Entry] where [Source ID] = Ā  [Document No_] and [Source Ref_ No_] = [Line No_])Ā  and [Source Type] = ‘5406’ )
      as ‘W/O No.’

      ?Hi,
      T904- Assemble-to-Order Link
shows you the link between the Assembly Order (ATO) and the Sales Order Line number.

When you print the assembly order R902, it will show the Sales Order also.

      ?Table 904 – Assemble-to-Order Link maintains this.

I can’t recall if it was a mod or out of the box, but we have an action on our Assembly Order named “View Sales Order” and if there is a sales order linked to that Asm Order (via table 904), we launch that order’s page. Also, on the sales lines, line button, there is an action to viewĀ any relatedĀ asm. order. In this way, we can get to the other side from either end.
