Handheld Scanners used with Insight Works Advanced Warehouse

Hello,
I’m reaching out to the community to see if anyone is using Insight Works Advanced Warehouse system.Ā And if so, what make and model of handhelds is everyone using?Ā We are in the process of looking at new handhelds to replace our very old and aging ones.
If you can send me the pros and cons of what you are currently using would be very helpful.
Thank you everyone for your time.

Laura,
We have been using Insight Works Advanced Warehouse System for a little over a year now.Ā We had old Windows based Motorola MC91XX and MC92XX scanners that did not function with this solution.Ā After looking at a couple of different scanners we ended up going with Android based Honeywell CK65’s.Ā They seem to be very durable, had the keyboard layout my end users were used to, have good battery life, and scan all of our various sized barcodes without issue.Ā We did go with their extended service contract as our environment seems to be a little rough on scanners and Honeywell has been very good at standing behind their product.

Hi Laura,I’ve worked with Insight Works for many of our customers and they typically choose the Honeywell CK65 or the Skorpio X5 and are very happy. Just be weary if you end up choosing a scanner with a windows operating system as they sometimes don’t work too well with Insight Works.

We are using Falcon x3 ScannersĀ which is what InsightWorks recommended to us about four years ago.Ā They were a bit challenging to set up initially, but have held their configurations and have been reliable since.
