Global search in NAV?

      I’m looking for a global search function across all our data in NAV and I’m looking for recommendations of products to look at

      We are on NAV 2018 on premise upgrading to BC 2019 on premise.

      I would recommend the Clever Global SearchĀ solution.Ā  There may be others options out there as well, but I believe this solution is available for both on-premise and cloud Business Central, offers the functionality you would expect with pretty simple setup, and at a good price point. ? We actually had developed our own “Global Search” tool many years ago for NAV and have now decided going forward that we will just be using the Clever solution for any clients looking for this type of solution.

      I looked at their site for some material on what it does and came up wanting.
      Will it support open-ended search for say a document number ?
      If for example, I provide a SO or SI number, will it simply point to where it is (Posted or unposted, Sales vs Service etc) thus eliminating having to search in every register for it if its status in the workflow is unknown ?
