      Hi – new user here.  I created a journal entry as a general journal, in a batch.  When I hit Submit, the status automatically changes to Approved, rather than sending it to my boss to approve it.  What am I doing wrong and how can I change it?   Thanks!

      Are you an approver also? If yes, does your approval threshold cover the transaction value? ?

      I am an approver also.  It turns out my name wasn’t added to the Transaction Approval Rules, since I started recently.  That should do the trick!
