      Hi all
I“m working with Navision 2009 using Lanham eship module, I“m having some issues, when I ran PackLine Scaning, for //cpp command, I“m getting next error message:

—- This message is for C/AL programmers: The call to member GetWeight failed. System returned the following message: The port ‘COM1’ does not exist. —-

Looking into the code, this is comming from CodeunitĀ 14000715 (Dot NET Automation Management), function getScaleWeight, here you can see Scale variable with GetWeight class,

I have installed the Eship components, but not sure what is next maybe will be necessary install other file?, someone have this kind of issue?, how did you resolve it?. I appreciate any comment or sugestion.

      Regards

Sounds like you have the Scale Interface Turned on and it cannot connect with the scale.Ā  Do you have a scale connected?Ā  If so is it Serial Port or USB?
If you are not using the scale interface then the packing station needs this turned off.

Thankyou to take a look on this.

The Scale Interface Code is enabled and working in other computers, but in this new, where we installed NAV and Lanham component it does not work, we are getting, the COM1 error message when we execute PackLine Scanning.

I think this is related with the lanham files installation. We have installed folder 1, folder 2 and folder 3 from the image below:

Do you have any other advise?

      Thanks in advance.

Echoing Justin’s question, do you have a serial port on the computer that you have attached the scale cable to? The message says COM1 which is a serial port.

Or, does your scale have a USB interface?

Original 2009 eShip did not support USB unless you have updated to a newer version of eShip.
