    Hi all!
    I’m new to the group so if this isn’t the right place to put this question, please let me know. I am trying to set up Bus Central so I can create Finance Charge Memos. I have created the Finance Charge Term and assigned it on the Customer Card. I also updated the Customer Posting Group so that the Service Charge Account is defined. When I go to the Finance Charge Memos > Process > Create Finance Charge Memos, I am getting an error message that the “Interest Account is missing in the Customer Posting Group Code”. I’m stuck – any suggestions?

    Check your Customer Posting Groups to make sure that you have an Interest Account specified.

    Hi Laresa,

    I’ve seen the Finance Charge Memo error come up before, and it usually relates to how a few setups connect

    Customer Posting Group and Interest Account mapping

    Finance Charge Terms linked with the right posting groups

    Customer Card settings that sometimes override defaults

    When these are aligned, the process works smoothly. We had to adjust these areas for one of our clients, and it solved the issue; it might be worth checking on your side too.
