Has anyone ever seen this error before posting invoice to PO? I never encountered it before.

Are there 2 or more lines on the PO with the same Type and No.?If so, do you have modifications in CU12 or CU90?

They have items and G/L Account types on the lines.

If any of the lines have the same GL account or item as another line, I have heard of a customization in either the GL post or purchase post causing a problem. One would group the like lines to a single entry and the other not. It created a mismatch. Not sure if this could be your problem.Not sure if you can do this, but if you try posting a few lines at a time by setting the quantity to invoice to 0 on some of the lines. It seems cause by some custom devlopment, Because this error interruption is not part of standard NAV, Somewhere in custom development in mid of posting routine is trying to insert G/L entry buffer records. If working so then that insertion to buffer table must be defined as TEMPORARY table.
For more clarity you can send screenshot of debugger where it stopped posting.——————————
