Hello everybody, and I hope you had a great New Year’s šŸ™‚

In trying to debug some code in NAV 2013 R2, I’ve hit a brick wall because there’s no Code Coverage tool built-in.

So, after some research, I found the Application Toolset (AppTestToolsetNAV2013-US) but when I try to import the objects I keep getting this error: Could not load type NAV Timer PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35

Does anyone have any idea how I can get this to load? Or an alternative tool for debugging/code coverage?

      Thanks a lot,

      Val

You could upgrade to NAV 2017 and take advantage of all the new technical features including code coverage.

I did your original upgrade to 2013R2. Unless you have added a huge number of mods buried in the standard NAV code, it should be a fairly simple upgrade. You can do most of the work yourself and use your partner for the items that require a partner license.

check if you have added assembly Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Timer.dll to the add-ins folder.

      Hi,

If you need code coverage refer below –

      https://saurav-nav.blogspot.in/2013/06/code-coverage-for-dynamics-nav-2013.html

The Mibuso link there should navigate to download of Code Coverage only.
