      Hello All,

For some reason, I’m dealing with an odd ball. I’ve setup other workstations (4 others) with the same processes and files (External Components). But I have one particular workstation that can’t seem to see the .DOT NET Automation and Scale” although it’s been installed.

I’ve tried both COMM PORT and USB scales and still getting an error message. The debugger doesn’t say much. Anyone seen this issue before? We’re running NAV 2016.

Also note that I’ve tried 2 different workstations as well as 2 different scales and still throws the same error. What am I missing?

Have all the e-ship files been installed on that machine?

      Hello Holly,

Yes I have, same processes I did with the other 4 stations. Is there anywhere I can get the newer versions of E-Ship External components? Maybe there is a different one?

Just wanted to give an update on this. Was guided towards a direction that the solution was NAV architecture versions between 32-bit and 64-bit.

Desktop ran 64-bit and NAV 64-bit and for the external components to work, had to get NAV to run in 32-bit. Followed the steps from the link below and now works with our USB scale.

Hello Kris: Be sure that you are running the 64-bit executable.

      Run Task Manager.

32-bit client: will indicate (32 bit)

I have to make a correction. My typing mistake yesterday. I’m sorry for that.
You must be using the 32 bit (x86) NAV client not the 64.
