?Is there a way to make the double-click work in non-editable lists, like the posted sales invoices for example?
In that list, you need to hit “View” because the double-click doesn’t work since Edit is grayed out.

A few other ways I always show my users (not sure if they’ll work in your scenario, but it’s worth trying):

      • Right-click –> Edit or View
      • Try the ENTER key.
      • Ctrl+Shift+VĀ  /Ā  Ctrl+Shift+E

      What version of NAV?

I just did a quick test, double-click does work for me on posted document lists in NAV 2017. But I do remember it being a problem in older RTC versions, just not sure what versions. In those older versions, I think I found if you double-clicked on the record in the “No.” column it did work, but on other fields or places in the row, it would not.

We reported this to Microsoft when NAV 2018 was released, still not fixed in BC either. This is a feature of the NAV 2018 or later that adjust the standard button based on security.
