Does anyone know of a way to structure standard NAV in order to achieve a custom depreciation table by day? Our machines are depreciated based upon the forecast income of the machine and the current rate table has a specific % per day. The custom depreciation table only allows for periods of Month, Period, Quarter and Year – not Day. I have thought of using Period – and then adding Day records to the Accounting Period table – but I’m not how you tell the depreciation process that “Period” represents the Day records. To throw a further curve ball in – the daily depreciation rate tables are adjusted periodically as income trends change. The depreciation for each month also has to represent the calendar days in the month – not 12 equal months. Any feedback is much appreciated.

?I have not heard this requirement before – Custom Depreciation by day – I suspect this will require a modification in your system.Ā Ā Ā
