?When using the copy bom feature – how do you get it to copy the most current version?  it only copies the original.

Hi Please let me know  if this helps:

You can copy the production BOM by versions using copy BOM version function.

1. Search for production Bom
2. Click on versions
3. Select version 
4. Copy Bom Version using actions tab

?I use that feature when creating another version but here is my issue:

Bom A is on version 7

I want to create a similar bom but totally different job number so we’ll call this Bom B.

I want Bom B to look like Bom A Version 7 but with some minor changes.  When I use the copy Bom feature – it pulls the original version of Bom A not Version 7.

Robin – try going to the BOM version you want to copy – highlight lines and copy lines – go to new Bom/version and paste the lines you copied.

?I’ve been doing that for years.  I was hoping that the new “copy bom” feature would have solved this issue.  I like how you can copy from version to version.  But to go from one to another totally new job number – it just doesn’t work.  Bummer!
