??Hi,

Does anyone know if it’s possible to copy the lines from an assembly BOM to a Production BOM, and how to do it?

I know how to create both ass’y BOM’s and Production BOM’s, however it would be nice since the two BOM’s consist of the same items, to just copy them 🙂

As long as the fields are in the same order you can. You can also copy-paste to Excel and rearrange the fields and copy-paste if you need to rearrange field or make changes.

In the past I have used Rapid Start to export out the Assembly BOM’s,
Then I add any additional information like the Routing Link Codes, etc. and then import back in to create the Production BOM headers and Lines via Rapid Start.
